Senior Check In Tech Support Classes
Patient, in-person tech help for older adults, led by trained high school volunteers.
We partner with ALFs, nursing homes, and Senior Centers to run a 6-week class that builds confidence with everyday technology and offers one-on-one troubleshooting.
Why Tech Support Classes?
We created Senior Check In Tech Support classes after seeing how many older adults want to use technology but don’t always have someone who can teach them. Limited tech skills can make it harder to stay in touch with family, manage day‑to‑day tasks, or enjoy simple online activities that support mental wellness.
Our classes focus on:
- Connection: text messaging, social media, and video calls to family and friends.
- Independence: practical tools like online shopping and helpful everyday apps.
- Well‑being: simple games and activities that can brighten the day and keep minds engaged.
